My survey isn't taking answers
What each message on a survey means, and how to fix it.
"This survey has closed"
Someone closed it, usually from the survey's Manage section. Open the survey, choose Reopen this survey, and the same link and QR code work again.
"You've already answered today"
That phone has already answered this survey today. It can answer again tomorrow. See One answer a day. Use preview mode to test as often as you like.
The link says the page can't be found
- The survey may still be a draft. Drafts have no working link until you publish them.
- The survey may have been deleted. Deleted surveys and their links can't be brought back.
- Check the link was copied in full. It ends with the survey's short code.
"This survey is no longer available"
Tinysurv has taken the survey down, or the account has been suspended, usually because it broke our terms. We'll have emailed the account's address with the reason. If you think it's a mistake, reply to that email or contact us.
Answers aren't showing in your results
Check the period at the top of your results: answers from outside it aren't shown. Each device can answer once a day, so a second try from the same phone on the same day isn't saved. See One answer a day.
