Exporting your results
Download your responses as a spreadsheet, or your results as a PDF.
You can download a survey's responses as a CSV file, which opens in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets and most other spreadsheet apps. On Pro, you can also save the results page as a PDF, to share or print.
Downloading
- Open the survey's results.
- Choose the period you want at the top of the page.
- Choose Export, then Download CSV.
The file holds every response in that period, whatever filters are set on the list.
What's in the file
Each row is one response, with these columns:
- Date and Time, in your account's timezone.
- Answer, in words, and Answer value, as a number.
- Comment, if there was one.
- Source: the link or QR code, or the website pop-up.
- Page: for the pop-up, the page of your website it was answered on.
Saving a PDF (Pro)
- Open the survey's results, and choose the period and the responses you want.
- Choose Export, then Export PDF.
- In the print window, choose Save as PDF as the printer (on an iPhone or iPad, use Save to Files), then save.
The PDF shows the page as you see it, in your chart colour, without the buttons: your score, the charts, the breakdown by answer and the responses listed. It's always on a white page, even if you use dark mode. It lists as many responses as the page is showing; for every response, download the CSV.
Tip: Export before you delete a survey or its responses, if you might want them later.
