Your first survey in a minute
Create a survey, try it yourself, then publish it.
A Tinysurv survey asks people one question. Keeping it to one is what makes people answer: it takes them a few seconds, on their own phone, with no app and no sign-up.
Create it
- In Your surveys, choose New survey.
- Type your question. Short and specific works best, such as "How was your coffee today?" or "Would you recommend us to a friend?"
- Pick how people answer: stars, thumbs or smileys. See Stars, thumbs or smileys.
- Decide whether to show the comment box after they answer.
- Add your logo and brand colour if you like.
The live preview beside the form shows exactly what people will see, and it updates as you type. Tap through it to try the whole thing. Nothing you do in the preview is saved or counted.
Publish it
Choose Publish when you're happy. Your survey goes live straight away and you're taken to its Share page, with its link, QR code and QR code poster. See Your link and QR code.
Not ready yet? Save draft keeps it private. A draft has no working link until you publish it.
New to Tinysurv? Before your first survey can be published, confirm your email address from the link we email you when you sign up. Drafts work straight away, and Your surveys can send the link again. If you signed up with Google, there's nothing to confirm.
Tip: Ask the question you'd ask someone face to face. If you'd never say it out loud, it's probably too long.
