Weekly summary and low-rating alerts
Your results by email, on {{PRO}}, and how to turn them off.
On Pro, Tinysurv can email you your results: a summary every week, and an alert when someone gives a low rating. Both are on when you move to Pro, and you can turn either off at any time. They aren't sent on Free.
The weekly summary
Every Monday at 8am, in your account's timezone, you get one email about the week before, Monday to Sunday. For each survey that had responses, it shows:
- Your score, and whether it went up or down since the week before.
- How many responses, comments and low ratings there were.
- The 3 newest comments.
- A link to see all the week's results.
A week with no responses gets no email. Your first summary comes the Monday after you start paying, and covers the days since then.
Low-rating alerts
A low rating is 1 or 2 stars, one of the two unhappiest smileys, or a thumbs down. When one arrives, Tinysurv waits 15 minutes and then sends one email with every low rating from those minutes. Each one shows the answer, the time, the comment if there is one, and, for the website pop-up, the page it was answered on.
Alerts come at any time of day. You get at most 3 a day; the last one says so, and any more low ratings that day are on your dashboard.
On a very busy day for Tinysurv, an alert can arrive the next morning instead, and it says so. The same can happen to a Monday summary, which then just arrives a little late.
What's in them
Comments longer than 300 characters are cut short, with a link to read the rest.
Turning them off
- From the email: every summary and alert has a link at the bottom to turn it off. You don't need to log in, and the page has a button to turn it back on.
- From your account: open Account and use the switches under Results by email.
If you move back to Free, both emails stop. Move to Pro again and they start again as you left them.
