The comment box
Let people add a few words after they answer.
After someone taps their answer, Tinysurv can ask "Thanks. Anything to add?" and show a box for a comment. It's always optional for them: they can tap Finish without writing anything.
Turning it on or off
Use the Comment box switch in the survey editor. It's on for new surveys. Unlike the question, you can change it at any time, even after answers have arrived.
Good to know
- Their answer is saved the moment they tap it, so it counts even if they walk away from the comment box.
- A comment can be up to 500 characters.
- A comment doesn't count as an extra response.
- Comments appear on your results page, newest first. See Comments and filters.
Note: Comments don't include a name unless the person writes one. Please don't ask people for personal or sensitive details in your question.
